The criminal, Bison, runs a gang called Shadaloo out of Thailand. Bison kills everyone that is involved so that he is the only guy left in charge of this mafia family. He still has Xiang (played by Edmund Chen) the father of Chun-Li who he captured and is forcing him to help with his plans. Two police work to solve the murders of many people killed by the Shadaloo gang. They are Maya Sunne (played by Moon Bloodgood) who works for the Thai police and Charlie Nash (played by Chris Klein) who works for Interpol.

An old woman helps Chun-Li learn from the ancient writings, she was given, that she must go to Thailand and contact a person with the name of Gen. She goes there. Gen finds her and prepares her for the ultimate fight by teaching her his style of martial-arts fighting. Chun-Li finds out that Bison kidnaps wealthy property owners to hold them for ransom until they give the properties to Bison. Bison plans to smuggle the “White Rose”. Chun-Li is determined to stop him even she is not sure exactly about the “White Rose.” Gen tells her Bison is of Irish heritage, became a thief and then chose to become pure evil. Gen is shot, but not killed, by the Shadaloo gang, but Chun-Li escapes.

Chun-Li finds out about the shipment of the “White Rose”, but when she comes to the wharf, it is a trap. She is captured and must watch as Bison kills her father Xiang. Chun-Li escapes. Chun-Li asks Nash to help her. Nash and Maya go to the shipyard with Chun-Li, accompanied by a SWAT team, to kill the Shadaloo. There is a massive fight. Bison escapes with his daughter who is the girl named “Rose.” They follow Bison to his secret operations. They are able to grab Rose and then they battle Bison. Chun-Li finally kills Bison by breaking his neck. Chun-Li goes back to Hong Kong to reunite with a recovered Gen who invites her to do some work for the Japanese which she politely declines.
Best part of story, including ending: I like martial arts films where the females are strong fighters because this breaks the traditional stereotypes.

Best scene in story: I like the scene when Chun-Li first meets Gen and agrees to train with him, because it sets up all the rest of the movie.

Opinion about the main character: Chun-Li is fantastic because she can handle herself very well in a fight.
