Shep Ramsey is a warrior from outer space who must hunt down a fugitive interstellar outlaw named General Suitor, who has captured President Hashina, the ruler of Shep's home planet. Unfortunately for Shep during the rescue mission President Hashina is killed by General Suitor who turns into a giant reptilian alien. After escaping the General's clutches and blowing up the ship, Shep makes his way back to his spacecraft where his superior suggest he takes a vacation. In a rage Shep smashes his ship's control console and the alien warrior is forced to make an emergency landing on Earth. As luck would have it Shep lands in Los Angeles of all places, and it is here that Shep rents a room from Mrs.Wilcox, in order to rest and get the parts he needs to repair his ship. Along the way the alien warrior becomes friends with his host family and tries to help them with their everyday problems. Mr. Wilcox soon discover's Shep's origin, and after investigating some strange looking equipment Mr Wilcox accidentally sets off a homing beacon which alert's General Suitor's bounty hunters. Now, Shep must contend with family stuff, work related stress, ship maintenance, intergalactic bounty hunters, and an angry reptilian alien out for vengeance. So much for that much needed vacation.

Best part of story, including ending:
It's such a cheesy plot and the movie looks like most of its budget went to casting Hulk Hogan. There's still a lot of charm with the film, at least in a nostalgic sense.
Best scene in story:
When Shep helps a mime "escape" from an invisible box. The scene is sort of funny in the sense that tthe concept of a mime is so foreign and alien to Shep that he assumes that the guy really is trapped in a force field.
Opinion about the main character:
The character is such a fish out of water but still manages to relate to the family very well, overall Shep is likable. Arguably speaking, most will like Shep's character because he's Hulk Hogan.
