Super Sucker stars Jeff Daniels (Dumb & Dumber, Speed, Bloodwork) as Fred Barlow, a Super Sucker vacuum cleaner salesman. After losing another sales contest to his competitor Winslow Schneabelt (Harve Presnell) he gets into a food fight at a restaurant with him and his team. Fred and Winslow are reprimanded by the company owner Cy Suckerton who suggests to Fred that he should accept Winslow's offer to buy him out. Fred begs CY for one more chance. Cy agrees to one more contest to see who could sell the most vacuum cleaners over the next thirty days. Fred rallies his team but they are not selling as well because Winslow put on a better campaign. Fred mistfortune is only for a brief time for when he get home he finds his wife cavorting with the vaccum cleaner. This sparks the idea of him remanufacturing an old attachment to the Super Sucker known as the "homemakers little helper." This skyrockets Fred's sales and causes Winslow to get into action.
