Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Sweet Liberty

Michael Burgess is a professor/writer who has written a novel about the American Revolution and sold the rights to the film. The film crew arrives in the small town of Sayeville, NY, with demanding director Bo, womanizing actor Elliot, neurotic screenwriter Stanley, and leading lady Faith, in tow. Much to Michael's chagrin, the script is not at all faithful to his original novel, with the director aiming the movie like a teen sex comedy instead of a historical tale. While Michael fights at all costs to make things right before they hit the big screen, he also has to deal with his relationship with girlfriend Gretchen getting more serious.
