One of the men falls in love with a pretty peasant girl. Believing she loves him too, he pursues her.

In the meantime, they get a job moving a composer's piano up the mountain to his cottage. They drop the piano off a bridge and destroy it.

The composer, now angry at the oafs, also happens to be the peasant girl's husband.

Upset with the situation, the two oafs get set to leave. But, before they can leave on their own they're chased out by the mean chef.
