Matt Dillon and Jay Hernandez star as two detectives Jack Welles and Edie Hatcher who investigate a heist pulled of by a collective of highly organized criminals led by Gordon Cozier (Idris Elba) and John (Paul Walker). Another crew member Ghost (T.I.) remerges after being caught in a previous caper five years earlier, and the crew set out on a new heist. The bomb they had placed underground goes but launches one of trucks too far and then a gunfight ensues. John then crashes one of the trucks and that enables the rest of the robbers to flee the scene. Welles and Hatcher follow them through the sewer system and Hatcher is shot in the pursuit. It is then revealed that Ghost cut a deal with Russians to kill the crew for half the take. Except that it is John who returns to foil Ghost's plan and it's a fight between the two for the money.
Best part of story, including ending:
I liked how precise they were with robbery plans and the twist with Ghost.
Best scene in story:
When John shows up at the end when Ghost is involved in the shootout.
Opinion about the main character:
I liked his intelligence. He was the only smart enough not to trust Ghost from the beginning.
