Peter Cushing and his wife are doctors sent by a Foundation to study the medicinal herbs of the Himalayas. They are staying by the Dhalai Lama as Forrest Tucker arrives with his sherpas. Cushing and Tucker had secretly organized an expedition into the lost valleys of the Himalayas in order to find the Yeti, a creature that could have resulted from an error of the theory of evolution. Lost in the blizzard, the members of the expedition die one by one by their own fault. After Tucker has killed one of the Yetis, the rest of them comes nearer and nearer.

Very interesting Hammer movie, not a horror film but rather a philosophic tale about the theory of evolution.
