A laidback criminal meets an adventurous vixen who offers him a con in paradise. Jack is a small-time con artist now in Hawaii. He meets a judge, who teaches him about the key players in their part of town. Ritchie is a shady and wealthy real estate developer with a sexy mistress Nancy, who lives on the wild side. When Jack meets Nancy, she is turned on by his criminal leanings. She offers that they steal 200 grand from Ritchie to which Jack agrees. Jack gets embroiled in a mess with Ritchie's henchmen, a rough foreman and Ritchie's right-hand man, who are out to get him. Jack also has an affair with Nancy, furthering complications. In the end, it turns out that Jack's friend the judge has been manipulating him from the start since he has it in for Ritchie. Nancy has also been playing Jack, setting him up as the fall guy for the robbery and for Ritchie's murder. Nevertheless, as the people he trusts backstab him, Jack takes the $200,000 and splits town.

Best part of story, including ending:
It's a group of weird characters interconnected because of a con.
Best scene in story:
When we learn that the judge is a con-man himself.
Opinion about the main character:
Jack wasn't thinking with his head, and gave into temptation much to his detriment.
