The Burbs Movie Review Summary

Actors: Tom Hanks, Carrie Fisher

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Burbs

A quiet, normal suburban neighborhood is suddenly brought out of hiding when some strange next door neighbors move in. Hanks stars as Ray Peterson, a normal, everyday fella on vacation at home. Corey Feldman is the hippie teenage next door neighbor, and Brude Dern is outstanding as the crazed ex-soldier. This is a wacky, screwball comedy about a bunch of suburban loosers creeping through their backyards, spying on the neighbors. A hilarious movie, but it generally bombs critically. Still, don't let opinion deter you from watching this one.

Ray Peterson (Tom Hanks) has a bad feeling about his new neighbors. Him and his neighborhood buddies will uncover what his creepy new neighbors are up to at all costs. This film will keep you laughing and yet keep you thinking.
