Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Cookout

The film is about a number 1 basketball player named Todd. Todd after being chosen by NBA, he signs a contract of $30 million with basketball team New Jersey Nets. Soon after he signs that contract his life right away changes and he buys a new house in a high class neighborhood. Todd makes a decision of ask his family to come for a cookout at his new house on the same day he also have interview. Some of his neighbors also decide to join Todd and his family on the cookout day.

Todd is primarily concerned with his own image and his family is making a poor impression on the neighbors. Todd was thinking that he made a big mistake inviting his family to his house because they where embarrassing him in front of the neighbors. Todd was wishing that he never have invited his family to the cookout But when two criminals illegally entered Todd's house to get his autograph, then his family helped him and he realized that how much he needs his supportive family even with their odd ways.
