Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Efficiency Expert

Errol Wallace (Hopkins) is an efficiency expert -- a management consultant who comes off a job downsizing a massive auto parts factory to evaluate a small shoe manufacturer. The owner, Mr. Ball (Kurts) wants to "modernize" somehow without actually cutting any jobs. Struck by a workplace that seems from an older time, Wallace quickly runs up against the real human lives his recommendations will hurt, and has to change his tune. This is a sweet, gentle comedy about working-class Australian lives.
