A small town in Germany, 1828. A young man, Kaspar Hauser, is found alone in the middle of the town, barely able to speak or walk. Professor Daumer meets Kaspar who has become a circus attraction and decides to take care of him. He will teach him to write and to play music. From his previous years, Kaspar Hauser remembers only that he has been living in captivity for years in a stall. Until now, no one knows why he has been released.
Based on a true story. Haunting.
