This is the story of a man who dreams that he is the hero in the F. Scott Fitzgerald book. However, when an embarrassing thing happens to him at his work at the Princeton Prep school, he goes to New York to start over.

Louis (Paul Dano) moves to New York after the incident at his previous job at the Princeton Prep School. Shortly after the move, he starts working from 9 to 5 at an environmental magazine company. At this job he meets an interesting lady, Mary (Katie Holmes). When Louis moved to New York he rented a room from Henry Harrison (Kevin Kline) who is a playwright. Henry is very out of the ordinary. Louis and Henry are about 40 years apart. Louis begins to learn a lot from Henry through outstanding adventures. These two men create an amazing friendship full of great memories.
Best part of story, including ending: I really liked this story because of all of the adventures that Louis and Henry went through.

Best scene in story: One of my favorite scenes was when Louis and Henry interact with the jealous neighbor. This scene is full of laughs.

Opinion about the main character: I like Louis because he is a great character who enjoys the company of someone who is completely unlike him. Together, him and Henry form a bond that isn't seen very much.
