Mark's(Elijah Wood)mother has just died. His father(David Morse)needs to go away and take care of some buisness soon afterwards and Mark is left at his cousins' house. After spending some time with his cousin Henry(Macaulay Culkin)he discovers that he really isn't what he seems. He is really dark and has secrets which no one knows. Mark has to try and keep Henry from using his powers against his family and him, but the trouble is no one will believe him.
