In the second movie of the Hunger Games series, Katniss Everdeen has become a bit of a hero among the people in the districts. She has done things that people did not think was possible and finally, there is hope in the districts. President Snow is not happy about this at all and he makes it his mission to get rid of Katniss and eliminate the risk of rebellion before it is too late. Unfortunately for him, it is already too late and people are already talking and planning.

When it is announced that the participants of the next Hunger Games will be past winners, Katniss knows that she will be going because she is the only female tribute in her district. Her goal is to protect Peeta if he is selected, because he is "good" in her eyes. Others have a different plan though. She has no idea that many of the past winners who have been selected as tributes for this year's Hunger Games have already banded together to make sure that she lives.
All of the districts are looking to Katniss for hope. She has become a symbol of the revolution, whether she wants to be or not.
Best part of story, including ending:
Even though everything seems hopeless, there is a lot of little signs of hope in this movie. Katniss brings hope with her where ever she goes because she is just a good person who wants nothing bad to happen to anyone. There are some great exciting scenes and scenes of faith.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene was when she went to visit the district the Rue was from (the little girl tht died in the first movie). The people are cold at first but when Katniss opens up to them, they respond with the raising of three fingers - the sign of solidarity.
