After many lawsuits towards superheroes, all of them went underground and took on permenant secret identities. Mister Incredible now works at an insurance company but is soon fired after throwing his boss at a wall. So not to disappoint his family, he tells them nothing. He then receives a strange message from a mysterious stranger telling him that she has an assignment for him. Mister Incredible takes this opportunity to go back to superhero work and arrives on an island where he is asked to destroy a mechanical ball called an Omnidroid. He does the deed and returns home with a large amount of pay although his wife, Elastigirl thinks it is because he has gotten a promotion from the insurance company.
