F.B.I. agents kill various Russians in a nightclub raid. The brother of one of the killed Russians in the club wants revenge. He wants to scare the Americans. He hires a mysterious, yet extremly smart and ruthless assasin, the jackal(Bruce Willis). F.B.I agent Carter Preston(Sidney Poitier) believes that somebody is about to do something bad, and he believes it may be the jackal. He joins up with an I.R.A. terrorist who knew the jackal, to help catch him before its too late. Loosely based on the 1973 film, The Day of The Jackal.
