Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The King

The main character (Elvis)leaves the navy to revisit his father who has left his mother. Elvis has never met his father, who works as a pastor at the community church in Texas. Pastor Dave tells Elvis to stay away and, without telling his family that Elvis is his son from a former relationship, tells them to have nothing to do with him. But Elvis has already connected with Malerie, the pastor's 16-year old daughter. Elvis embarks on the seduction of Malerie, while Dave examines his conscience and comes to a new conclusion. Can anyone get right with the Lord? Does the Lord hear?
Elvis has fallen in love with Malerie, but keeps their relationship as discreet as possible so Dave does not interfere. After Dave losses his son of his new marriage, he has a renewed change of heart and accepts Elvis as family and takes him in. The movie bases itself around revenge and a downward spiral of anger and remorse. Although Dave may have changed Elvis may never be able to forgive his father?
