During the Revolutionary War, a colonel does his best to stay out and keep his family in one piece, until his son is killed. After that, it's good old Mad Max on the loose, killing and maiming and doing as much damage as he can with musket, pistol, knife and tomahawk. Overall, not a bad movie, and no one goes psychotic on a bunch of Brits like Mel.
