The Presitge is the thrilling story of rival magicians. Rupert Angier (Hugh Jackman) and Alfred Borden (Christian Bale) were once partner magicians but after the death of Angier's wife they become rivals. Borden is blamed for the death, which happened during an on stage escape trick. Borden goes on to live a life that Angier once dreamed and feels that he is entitled to. Angier seeks revenge while Borden is always one step ahead. Michael Caine and Scarlett Johansson also star in the movie. The movie also stars David Bowie in a short cameo. The movie consists of each magician trying to up the latest new trick. They both play tricks on each other until in the end all tricks are revealed.

    This movie revolves around two Victorian-era magicians; they have intense rivalry which builds into a growing battle of tricks and a greedy desire to discover the other's trade secrets. This movie is rated PG-13 for violence and disturbing images. Warner Bros. Pictures International, Buena Vista Pictures Distribution. Filming locations are Los Angeles, California USA.

   This movie is about two magicians at the time when magicians where consider celebrities of top level and were loved by people. Robert Angier is the flashy sophisticated consummate entertainer on the other hand Alfred Borden is the rough-edged purist and a creative genius who lacks to display his magical ideas.

   Two young magicians set out to carve their own ways to fame. They start out as partners and used to admire each others tricks but when their biggest trick went terribly wrong they became enemies for life and being in the same field they become jealous of one another's success. With time their vicious competition starts building until it knows no bounds, they started using powers of electricity and the scientific brilliance to make their show great.
