Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Singing Nun

A novice nun named Ann (Reynolds) begins her service to the church in a European convent where she interacts with locals in need of guidance, including a young woman named Nicole (Ross). To help cheer souls along, the Sister sings. When Father Clementi (Montalban) hears Sister Ann sing, he takes her to a talent contest. Suddenly, Sister Ann is signed to a record deal and her uplifting songs make her an international star – which includes a guest appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show.” She, however, is uncertain of how to react to her new-found fame. This has even had the power to bring an old flame (Everett) back into her life. She must decide which is more important -- her vows or worldly fame –- with the patient guidance of the Mother Prioress (Garson).
