Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Sixth Sense

Dr. Malcolm Crowe is an award-winning child psychologist, who is then visited by one of his former patients called Vincent. He then shoots Crowe, and then himself. Crowe late meets Cole, a boy with the same problems as Vincent. He then decides not to make the same mistake he did with him. Throughout their talks they become closer, and become good friends. It is then that Cole tells him a dark secret. He can see dead people. Bruce Willis is great, but Haley Joel Osment steals the show as Cole. This is a must-see.

Cole struggles to overcome his fear of the dead in The Sixth Sense. He is a "freak" in grade school and will not tell his mother his secret, he can see dead people, because he is afraid of being alienated by her too. He is superstitious about the church and belives it can protect him from ghosts, he is afraid, and when his psychologist (who's also dead) tells him that the only way to overcome his fears and to make the ghosts go away is to talk to them and find out what they want and to help them! He finds that he can help the ghosts and ends up helping his mother and his long-gone grandmother while also sorting his relationship with his mother by telling her his secret and passing on a message from his grandmother to her daughter, his mum.

This movie, the sixth sense, is about a troubled boy who sees ghosts and a child therapist who feels he has failed and uses this boy to correct his previous mistakes. Both characters are in this movies come to terms with issues and fears surrounding their lives. Great actors, a twist towards the end, but overall the movie was a let down. The script needs much more work and there are a lot of questions left unanswered. A must see though for the twist and the use of ghosts. Very jumpy!!!
