Rachel has been adopted by the Zachary family when she was a baby. Now, 20 years later, the old Abe Kelsey claims she's a Kiowa and not at all the child of pioneers killed by the Indians. The Zacharys and, in particular, Ben Zachary, who's always had a special relationship with his sister, can't accept this allegation and retire into their ranch. There, they will have to face reality and to deal with the fact that Rachel is really of Indian blood. Ben will finally admit he's in love with Rachel while the Kiowas are surrounding the ranch in order to bring the young woman back with them.
