Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Wild Blue Yonder

American scientists decide to examine, 50 years later, the remnants of what had been found in Roswell. Unfortunately, an unknown bacteria infects them and the NASA must send a space shuttle into space in order to explore the galaxies and find a new planet for the humans. The shuttle uses a time and space corridor and finally manages to reach the Wild Blue Yonder planet whose habitants had already visited the Earth centuries before. The contacts with the aliens are reduced to the minimum considering the impossibility to communicate with them. The astronauts come back to planet Earth as the danger of pandemic has meanwhile disappeared. This science fiction fantasy was written and directed by Werner Herzog in 2005. The director uses images and films found in the NASA warehouses in Los Angeles and also documentaries shot under the Antarctic ice in order to give life to the Wild Blue Yonder planet.
