Directed by Phil Karlson and based on the book of Donald Hamilton, 'The Wrecking Crew' was released in 1968. I had a great interest in this film for the spy character Matt Helm. He was the best spy hero before James Bond. There are some other blockbuster movies of him. But now he is after an evil man, Count Contini, who just stole Gold worthy of $1 billion and transported it from America to Europe. His aim was to create a chaos in the world financial marketplace. Matt is a undercover agent of ICE. ICE calls upon him and assigns him on this charge. Matt is about to move to Denmark. Matt sees a woman Freya in Denmark who is also an agent. Later, Matt attacks Contini and after a showdown Contini is dead on a train.

Best part of story, including ending:
Matt Helm was the best spy hero during the 1960 era. Everybody just loves him. Based on his character the movie is well directed and worthy of watching.
Best scene in story:
At the conclusion of the movie, when Matt attacks Contini on a train. That showdown is really great to watch.
Opinion about the main character:
Matt is a sensitive and serious spy. He could serve anything for his nation. A brave person and mostly an honest piece.
