Daniel Armstrong (Edward G. Robinson) is always pulling grand advertising stunts. He believes in the fine art of ballyhoo and his supervisors used to agree. But after an incident with dirigibles they believe he has gone too far. Now the consensus is that his methods are outdated and he is bringing ridicule to the company. The senior execs think that the company should be leaning more towards a conservative English style. Dan disagrees by tendering his resignation but not before deciding on a trip to England.
