The Pacific Islands in 1942. Cliff Robertson, who until now hasn't taken part in any combat, is sent on an island in order to help a british platoon. With Michael Caine and a few "voluntaries", he has to go behind enemy lines to destroy a japanese radio installation. Once the mission fulfilled, they must return to their base through the jungle with the japanese army hunting them.

Pessimistic and filled with non-stop action.
