This movie is basically about two firemen Vince (Bill Pakton) and Don (William Sadler), who where at the wrong place at the wrong time. At the beginning of the movie two firemen tries to save an old man but he point a gun at them and dies. Before busting into flames the old man gives an envelope to one of the fireman.

In that envelop the firemen finds an article about a robbery which took place 50 years ago along with a cross made of pure gold and a map of a place where that gold still lie buried. Both the firefighters decided to drive all the way from Arkansas to East St Louis in search of the treasure.
They became greedy and went after the gold but they quickly become entangled with a local crime ring. They took the mob bosses younger brother called lucky as hostage and tie him to the entrance door so that they can't get in. lucky was the only reason they where alive. Two gang members also find out about the gold for the article in the firemen's car they also becomes greedy, eventually they kill each other.
They struggled to stay alive and they found the gold worth of millions of dollars. Lot of people died in this movie including one of the firemen and at the end of the movie a homeless men got the gold. The other firemen walks out alive but without the gold. This movie is also known as “Looters” and “The Looters”. Genres include Action/Adventure, Drama and Thriller. The movie is rated R.
