In Arizona, the apache Ulzana and a few companions leave the Indian reservation in order to loot, kill and rape. A U.S. cavalry detachment, lead by young Lt. Bruce Davison, is sent to find him. Thanks to the old scout Burt Lancaster and the indian scout Ke-Ni-Tay, the soldiers are coming closer to the cruel gang.
