    The movie is about five kids each with a different personality stuck at the airport on Christmas Eve and the best thing is that there isn't a parent around. The comedy follows rich-girl Grace, tomboy Donna, awkward Spencer, geeky Charlie and bashful Beef as they try to outwit an annoyed airport official.

    At Christmas Eve they had to shut down the airport due to a huge blizzard, threatening to ruin the traveler's holiday plans. Spencer and his little sister Katherine, are escorted to the airport's Unaccompanied Minors Room they where going to their fathers house. Spencer and Katherine where not alone in the Unaccompanied Minors Room they where accompanied by dozens of parent-free kids from all over the country. Spencer along with four other kids desperately tries to escape the crossfire of projectile cupcakes and juice boxes. The gang of UM's includes Grace a spoiled rich girl, Donna trailer-park tomboy, Charlie the academic overachiever and comic-book geek Timothy Wellington also known as "Beef." The airport security team tries to stop them including passenger relations manager named Oliver Porter, his assistant Zach Van Bourke and every airport security guard.

    In the meantime Katherine and the other UM's where ushered to a nearby hotel to wait out the storm. Spencer works together with his UM gang to reunite with his little sister Katherine and also fulfilling her unspoiled vision of Santa Claus arriving on Christmas morning.

    Every gang member works together to outrun the airport crew. The movie is rated PG for mild rude humor and language.
