Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Venus Wars

An earth-based journalist is sent to Venus to cover an ongoing war between two factions. Shortly after she arrives, the faction which turns out to be the bad guys launches an attack on the city where she is based. Also caught up in the action are a team of space-age bike racers who are carrying out one of their dangerous contests when the enemy forces strike. The film follows both the journalist and the bikers as they battle the occupying forces. One of the bikers is stranded and has to fight and flee his way back to a safe house. Then, the bikers launch raids, using their inferior technology to disrupt the occupation. Finally, they join the resistance army which is forming in the desert outside the city. After a showdown with the evil enemy general, the scene is set for the finale, in which the resistance forces try to retake the city. This is a long film, full of action sequences such as chases and battles, which features cyberpunk and futuristic cityscapes and technology, including bikes, tanks and flying transport ships.
