Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Warm Bodies

This movie is a zombie love story. The main character is a zombie called "R" who is a young man (played by Nicholas Hoult). He is always hungry and has to eat humans, especially liking to eat brains. With some other zombies, that include his friend "M" (played by Rob Corddry) he attacks a group of young people that are human. They kill all of them including Perry (played by Dave Franco) except one who is Perry's girlfriend, named Julie (played by Teresa Palmer) because R falls in love with her at first sight. To save her from being eaten by the other zombies, R disguises Julie by making her smell of death and walk zombie-like back to his place. He lives in an abandoned jet aircraft.

Julie is way behind zombie enemy lines. R and Julie have to decide how to get her safely out of there. R is reluctant to let her go, because not only is it dangerous and she may be killed, but he wants to keep her with him as his companion. R makes up excuses to keep her with him for as long as possible. They do fun things together like play old records and take a car for a wild ride. But eventually Julie just wants to go home and she escapes back to the human zone.

R begins to feel again, and his heart starts beating in a miraculous way. The same thing begins to happen to his friend M and some of the other zombies. This enrages a group of skeleton zombies who attack them fiercely. The skeleton zombies are ones that are so far gone there is no way to redeem them. But for R there is still a chance. He sneaks into the human zone, pretending to be human, so he can see his love Julie. Julie tells her friend Nora (played by Analeigh Tipton) that she has fallen in love with a zombie and introduces her to R. The two girls conspire to hide him from being discovered, especially by Julie's father, Grigio who is the human military leader (played by John Malkovich).

This sets up the final battle between the humans, the skeletons, and the zombies with surprising results that show love ultimately prevails.

Best part of story, including ending: The main character R is very sympathetic. He doesn't remember what happened or how he became a zombie or even why he became one, so he opens up to the possibility of finding some way back to being human once again.

Best scene in story: The best scene is when the zombies, who have begun to have feelings, see their hearts reflected in a store window and that they are beating once again.

Opinion about the main character: It is creepy when the main character R eats the brains of Julie's dead boyfriend and because of this suddenly experiences the memories of Julie's relationship with the boy he killed.
