Jill is a teen babysitter who goes to an isolated, upscale house in the mountains on a job. The parents leave her instructions, while the kids are upstairs sleeping. Soon she receives calls, and thinks it's a prankster. Her bestfriend Tiffany comes over but since they aren't on good terms she asks her to leave. There's a storm outside, and Tiffany goes out to move some broken branches and is attacked. Meanwhile, Jill calls the police to inform them that there's a strange caller threatening her. Later on, Jill is informed by the police that the calls were traced and are coming from inside the house. Jill hears a sound upstairs, she goes up and finds Tiffany dead. She gets the children and go into the greenhouse and see that the housekeeper is also dead. They are chased but Jill defends herself with a hot poker and stabs the intruder. The police finally arrive. Later on, Jill is now in a psych ward having nightmares of her ordeal.

It's based on an urban legend which is very similar to movies like Scream and its follow ups.

When Jill realizes that the caller has been watching her every move.

She had the presence of mind to get the kids out and was brave to defend herself.
