In this book, a middle ages woman who loves to gossip, and watch 'soap operas', begins to realize how little she knows about her own daughter, and worries about the ramifications of her own choices on her children. Her life begins to represent the soap operas she watches as secrets begin to unfold and life takes a turn for the worst.
