Years later, Elizabeth ends up in a sleepy Arkansas town. To the world, she is Abigail Lowery, an eccentric security expert who prefers isolation and the company of her dog to people. But police chief Brooks Gleason knows that there is more to Abigail than what meets the eye. Brooks succeeds in getting Abigail to finally trust someone in her life, but will her past leave her alone?
Best part of story, including ending: Elizabeth (Abigail) is loving-at-heart, but she does not want to allow anyone to enter her life or fall in love with someone because she is haunted by her past. It's really sweet the way she falls in love with Brooks in spite of all her misgivings.

Best scene in story: My favorite scene is when Abigail meets Brooks' mother and his sisters and does not know how to respond to them.
