Pat Solitano Jr. is recently released from a mental hospital into the care of his parents. He finds out that his wife Nikki has moved away. Pat's father is out of work and is struggling to make ends meet. Pat wants to get his life on track, help his father, and get Nikki back. Pat's therapist explains to him why he was put in a mental hospital. Pat beat a man to near death after he found him sleeping with Nikki. Pat explains that he has moved on and depends on his beautiful outlook on life. Pat goes to dinner one day and meets a girl named Tiffany. Tiffany and Pat develop an odd friendship. Tiffany agrees to deliver a letter to Nikki for Pat in exchange of Pat being Tiffany's partner in a dance competition. Pat and Tiffany begin practicing for the dance competition. Tiffany deliver the letter for Pat, and Nikki responds with hopeful words. The day comes for the dance contest and Nikki is there. Pat must try to win Nikki back, or might be falling for Tiffany.

Best part of story, including ending: What I liked about this story is that a mentally ill person showed that he was still loving and happy.

Best scene in story: My favorite scene was when they danced because they did it with their best effort.

Opinion about the main character: What I liked most about Pat was that he was willing to help Tiffany in her competition.
