Percy spends most of his time in the water looking to find the island that holds the Golden Fleece and his missing friend Grover. He learns that there are other people racing to find the Fleece too. As Percy is on this journey to save Camp Half Blood he learns a family secret that makes him question his status as son of Poseidon.
Best part of story, including ending:
I loved that there were more things going on in Percy's head than just trying to find the Golden Fleece.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene is when Percy is in a cab with 3 monster taxi drivers and they only have one eye. It is a humorous scene.
Opinion about the main character:
I liked that Percy kept his eye on what was important and not trying to deal with his personal life on a dangerous quest.
