Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Homefront

Jason Statham plays the character, Phil Broker, an undercover police officer that infiltrates a drug organization run by bikers. Broker participates in the takedown of the motorcycle gang in a blazing shootout where the son of the gang leader is killed. The motorcycle gang leader is sentenced to prison and vows revenge. Broker changes his identity and looks, goes into witness protection, and takes his teenage daughter, who is the character Maddy Broker, played by Izabela Vidovic, to live in a small town after his wife (who is her mother) died, to try to rebuild a normal life.

The small town appears to be normal at first, but soon the redneck nature of the local populace surfaces and both Phil Broker and his daughter Maddy are seen as outsiders. This starts when Maddy has a fight on the school grounds with a much large boy acting as a bully. Maddy has been taught to defend herself by her father and very effectively takes the much larger boy down, to the surprise of all the students and teachers who see what happens. The boy is the son of a woman who is sister to the local redneck drug dealer, the character called Morgan “Gator” Bodine, played by James Franco, who cooks “speed” in an old warehouse on the river.

Gator breaks into Phil Broker's house and discovers files that show Broker was an undercover cop and uses the information to tell the imprisoned motorcycle gang leader in order to expand his drug operation. This sets up the final showdown for the ending of the film.
Best part of story, including ending: This is about a father trying his best to defend his daughter and keep her from harm, while at the same time feeling guilty that he brings the danger into her life but also knowing that he is strong enough to protect her.

Best scene in story: The ending because it really rocks and good triumphs over evil.

Opinion about the main character: The main characer is very agressive and also sensitive. He can fight viciously and kill men with his bare hands to protect his daughter and at the sane time is gentle enough to save her tiny kitten for her.
