The Son of Neptune Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Son of Neptune

In the beginning of the story Percy Jackson, Hero of Olympus, is back. He meets 2 other demigods at the Romans Camp Jupiter. Their names are Hazel and Frank. At camp Jupiter, everyone acted like they didn't know Percy, but everyone knew him. The other demigods were impressed with his battle skills in training. Since they saw Percy as a great War Hero, they send him on a quest to free Gaea, a Roman God. During the quest he doesn't have any memory of the past.

As Percy is returning from his quest he faces a giant in a duel. He defeats him and the camp makes him there leader. In the end, Percy sees the Greek demigods from Camp Half-Blood. The Romans prepared for battle and stood along the camp borders asking for a fight.
Best part of story, including ending: I liked the third person this time because it showed how Percy was viewed by other people.

Best scene in story: My favorite scene was when the Greek demigods returned.

Opinion about the main character: I hated that Percy's memory was lost half of the story. He had much explaining to do from the last story.
