Angelina Jolie is at it again, this time as Evelyn Salt, a prisoner in North Korea who tortured as they believe that she is an American spy, but is eventually released as a prisoner exchange with the CIA. When a Russian defector, Orlov, comes into Salt's office at the CIA she is weary of him. While being detained Orlov kills two agents then flees, as well as Salt before the facility is locked down.

While being pursued, Salt starts having flashbacks to her past, which triggers memories of growing up in the Soviet Union with other children, and being trained by Orlov to obey his orders. So while trying to clear he name Salt also embarks on a mission of revenge against those who killed her husband Mike.
Best part of story, including ending:
Wasn't a fan of the sleeper agent out for revenge plot. Has been done before and better.
Best scene in story:
When Salt has flashbacks of growing up in Russia.
Opinion about the main character:
Liked the fact se was loyal to her husband even after his death, and wanted justice for him.
