Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Closed Circuit

The Borough market in London is blown up in a terrorist attack. The entire thing is captured on London's closed circuit television set-up. A man, Farroukh, is arrested on suspicion of being the mastermind of the operation. When the lawyer representing Farroukh falls off a roof, two other lawyers, Martin and Claudia, are hand-picked by the Attorney General to advocate on behalf of the accused. Martin and Claudia had an affair some years back, but they vow to behave professionally during such a high-profile case. Since some of the material is government-classified, Claudia will stand for Farroukh in a closed trial using the classified material, and Martin will represent him in the open public trial using whatever evidence is allowed to be released to the public. Since Claudia has the classified evidence, MI5 is peering over her shoulder at every turn, and she grows suspicious that the case may not be what it appears to be. Martin shares in her concern, as Farroukh's family refuses to answer any questions, afraid that they are being watched by the government. When Martin discovers that Farroukh was a secret agent, and thus the terrorist attack was at least partially government funded, Martin and Claudia begin to realize Farroukh, his family, and their own lives are in serious danger. They must find a way to get safely to the trial with Farroukh's family in order to blow the case open to the public.
