Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Incredible Hulk

Bruce Banner (Edward Norton), whose monster alter ego is the Hulk, is eluding the U.S. military, headed by Gen. Ross, and is hiding out in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. He's trying to find a cure and has since been curbing his bursts of anger with various techniques. When his location is picked up by Ross, the General sends a special ops team, led by Emil Blonsky, to capture him. Bruce becomes the Hulk, and sends the team scrambling and disappears. Blonsky is flabbergasted. He scolds Ross to tell him what the heck is going on, and Ross divulges info on the super soldier project, so Blonsky volunteers to be a test subject. Meanwhile Bruce goes to a Virginia campus, where Betty, his ex and Ross' daughter teaches. They reunite after years in hiding, but are tracked again by the military. Blonsky now has incredible strength, so he pursues the Hulk, but is no match for him. Betty helps Bruce track down a Mr. Blue, who Bruce thinks can cure him. They go to New York, and Blue injects Bruce with a serum that controls the Hulk part of him. When Bruce is captured by the military, Blonsky infuses Bruce's blood into his, making him into a hideous monster, Abomination. He wreaks havoc on the city, while going head to head with the Hulk. Helicopters and vehicles are tossed around, roads and buildings crushed with the two monsters bashing each other's heads in, until the Hulk strangles Abomination to his death. He escapes up North, where he continues work to control his other side.

Best part of story, including ending: I feel for Banner's quest to normalize his life, and I pity him because he's very much a reluctant superhero.

Best scene in story: When Hulk and Blonsky fight in the University quad, tanks flying and gunfire raining.

Opinion about the main character: I like the contrast of mild-mannered scientist, struggling with his brute of an alter ego.
