This book follows the titillating lives of three female friends going through the quintessential mid-life crisis. Andrea, Holly, and Marissa are each going through their personal relationship issues.

The main character, Holly, is completely unsatisfied with her perfect little life. She has a great husband who loves and supports her. She has recently lost a lot of weight and decides to start having kinky affairs around town. She sneaks around doing all the sexual things she wouldn't dare express to her husband. As she gets deeper and deeper into this new taboo world, Holly neglects her doting hubby. On the other hand, Andres is jealous of Holly's marriage and secretly wants to screw her husband. She makes the decision to subtly pursue Holly's husband and her disdain for Holly grows stronger with each day. Finally, Marissa may have the most issues. Her son is out of the closet, her daughter has a fatal illness, and her husband would rather be at work than with her.
These three women are the definition of freinemies. As they continue to get more trapped in this love triangle, things get complicated. Will Holly find out about Andrea? Can Marissa hold it together? Will Andrea really betray her friend? The story is too good to miss.
Best part of story, including ending:
I actually hated this story because it makes these women look like desperate psycho bitches.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene was the first time Holly tells her friend about her affair. It is so funny to read how Andrea reacted to tis news...that was also the point when we first noticed how serious her jealousy was.
Opinion about the main character:
Holly is stuck up and selfish.
