Detailed plot synopsis reviews of A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas

Harold and Kumar are all grown up. Well, one of them is. Sort of. Six years after escaping from Guantanamo Bay, Harold is married with Maria, living in New Jersey. Maria's father, Mr. Perez, will be spending Christmas with them, and he doesn't hide his disdain for Harold. Kumar on the other hand is still living in the same apartment. He's just been dumped by Vanessa and finds out she's pregnant. One day he receives a package meant for Harold, and decides to personally deliver it.

The package turn out to contain a joint, which Harold uses to accidentally burn down his father-in-law's precious Christmas tree. Kumar promises to get his old buddy a replacement, and so they begin another journey. They get to a party where things quickly turn sour when the daughter of a crime boss named Katsov accuses them of harassing her. The two quickly make a run of it, and end up in Neil Patrick Harris' dressing room at a Christmas show. Apparently he died and went to Heaven, but Jesus sent him back. Neil gets the guys a Christmas tree, and a Wafflebot (waffle-making robot, of course) as a gift. Wafflebot comes in handy when they are taken by Katsov's henchmen, saving their lives. What else can go wrong for Harold and Kumar? Well, Harold shoots Santa in the face, but it's OK because Kumar saves him and Santa agrees to fly them back to Harold's home. Mr. Perez eventually warms up to his son-in-law, and Harold and Kumar are best friends again.
Best part of story, including ending: It's not as funny as the previous ones, but if you're a person who can laugh at anything, the movie has everything for you.

Best scene in story: The claymation scene is hilariously random, together with a jolly snowman and a jolly song.

Opinion about the main character: Harold and Kumar are meant for each other, and they have the best road trips ever.
