Judith goes to work for a match-making service that works only with very wealthy clients. It is owned by Janice (played by Vanessa Williams) who fakes a French accent to make herself seem more important. Judith is befriended by Ava (played by Kim Kardashian) not because Ava really wants to be her friend, but because Ava wants Judith to change her style and the clothes she wears, in order to better fit in with the agency "look."
Judith is married to a simple guy, Brice (played by Lance Gross). Brice drives an old truck and works in a pharmacy. Their marriage is falling apart. Brice takes Judith for granted. Judith wants more. A wealthy client, Harley (played by Robbie Jones ), comes into Judith's work and takes a fancy to her. He showers her with attention, meanwhile Judith's husband Brice forgets it is her birthday (for the second year in a row). When flowers arrive at Judith's office for her, they do not come from her husband but from Harley. Harley makes the moves on Judith using his charm, his reputation, and his money, since he is thinking about investing in the agency. Judith wants a way out of her marriage and Harley is her ticket. Harley takes her on his private jet to seduce her. He forces himself on her. She resists but finally gives in. Harley then rapidly changes from being seductive to controlling.
Harley's ex-girlfriend, Melinda (played by Brandy Norwood) is trying to escape from him. By coincidence she gets a job at the pharmacy where Brice (Judith's husband) works. Judith decides to leave her husband for the better life with Harley. Brice tries to fight to keep her, but Judith makes it very clear it is over. Melinda tries to console Brice for the losing his wife which he confuses for sexual advances. That is when Melinda confesses that she has HIV, which she got from her ex-boyfriend.
Judith's mother, Sarah (played by Ella Joyce) is a Christian. She tries to intervene to help Judith to come back home. But, when Harley and Judith come to the house to get Judith's laptop, Harley has a physical fight with Judith's mother Sarah throwing Sarah to the floor injuring her. This causes Judith and Harley to physically fight. When he gets Judith back to his house, he beats her, then passes out from having too much to drink. Meanwhile, Brice figures out from Melinda that Judith is with her ex-boyfriend Harley; the one who has HIV when Melinda mentions his name. Brice goes to physically rescue Judith, yet we have to wait until the end of the film to find out if he really did save her.
Best part of story, including ending:
Nobody wants to necessarily give in to the temptations but it is easy to see how people can fall for them in this movie.
Best scene in story:
I like the scene when Ava is trying to help Judith improve her look, especially Ava's reaction of delight to finally being allowed to do a complete make-over of Judith. It is interesting because Eva is both helpful and manipulative at the same time.
Opinion about the main character:
The poor girl has to go through some really bad stuff in order to redeem herself. I felt sorry for her for being so naive.
