The war between cat and dogs has been going on forever; however one cat wants to destroy everyone. This is Kitty Galore (with the voice of Bette Midler). Kitty was a agent for MEOWS that went renegade after she fell into a tub of hair-removing stuff at a cosmetic plant. She became so ugly without hair that nobody wanted to have anything further to do with her. Her evil plan is to build a machine that will broadcast a signal, called “Call of the Wild” that only dogs can hear on TV and radio which will drive them crazy to attack their owners.

The cat agents from MEOWS and the dog agents from DOG headquarters team up to stop Kitty Galore. They get some information from a pigeon named Seamus (with the voice of Katt Williams) and learn that Calico, a cat that lives with an old lady (with the voice of Wallace Shawn) has been helping Kitty Galore get the parts she need to make the “Call of the Wild” machine.
They find out that Kitty Galore's hideout is a fairgrounds. The team of Diggs (with the voice of James Marsden), Catherine (with the voice of Christina Applegate), Butch (with the voice of Nick Nolte), and Seamus go to the fairgrounds for the final showdown with Kitty Galore. Kitty gets the “Call of the Wild” machine working. Immediately all over the world all the dogs go crazy. Diggs, who never seems to get anything right, finally succeeds and tricks Kitty Galore's helper Paws(with the voice of Phil LaMarr) into stopping the signal of the "Call of the Wild" machine to the relief of all the dogs and their owners all over the world. Kitty Galore is defeated.
Best part of story, including ending:
It is a fun premise to see that the arch enemies of cats and dogs work together to save the world.
Best scene in story:
I like the scene when they discover that Kitty Galore's helper, Paws, is actually a robot. Poor Kitty she does not have any real friends.
Opinion about the main character:
We feel sorry for Kitty Galore but she does not learn her lesson or turn from her evil ways.
