Spencer quits anyway. He marries Jen. They live a normal life until Jen decides they should go back to Nice to celebrate their third year anniversary. Spencer does not want to go to Nice because of what might happen when he is found there. Jen thinks Spencer's reluctance is because he is becoming tired of her. Spencer's old boss locates him and wants him to do another job for him. Spencer tries to refuse. Suddenly Spencer is under attack. Jen comes home during one attack. Spencer tells her to get his gun. This is when she first learns who he really is, but things happen so fast she gets caught up in it. She shoots the attacker who tells them there is a $20 million reward for killing Spencer. Then a sniper shoots at them. They get attacked by others who are also fighting each other to see who will get the reward for killing Spencer.

Jen tells Spencer she is pregnant. They decide to escape together. While they are getting guns and passports from their house, they are attacked again. One killer, named Kristen (played by Casey Wilson) kidnaps Jen's mom to hold her hostage. Jen's father shoots Kristen. Then he tells Jen that he was also a spy and the guy that Spencer was supposed to kill three years before when they were in Nice together. They all reconcile this when Jen's dad learns of her pregnancy and sees that Spencer really does love his daughter, and really does not want to be a killer anymore.
Best part of story, including ending: It is rather amusing that Jen has no idea that her husband used to be a contract killer, and that Jen's father turns out to be a spy as well.

Best scene in story: I like the scene when Spencer and Jen are under attack by all the neighbors. It is crazy when everyone they know all tries to kill them.

Opinion about the main character: What is good about Spencer is that he really wants to change and leave his old life behind to start his family.
