Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Nadine

1954, Austin, Texas, expecting Nadine (Kim Basinger) has gone to sleazebag photographer Escobar to claim the nude pictures he took of her. Escobar had assured her that he was acquainted with Hugh Hefner and she would get a career out of them. Nadine doesn't believe him and she wants the pictures. Going to the studio, however, she walks into a murder scene. She grabs an envelope that has her name on it and leaves instantly. But she got the wrong pictures. They are plans for a new property development project. Her estranged and straying husband Vernon (Jeff Bridges), a good looking, loud-mouth of a bum, gets his hands on them and he sees a way of making a ton of money out of them. Shady realtor Pope (Rip Torn) wants his plans back and stops at nothing to retrieve them. Soon, the couple is on the run, not only from the realtor but also from the police, who suspect them of having killed Escobar.
