Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son

This is a story about guys wearing female attire going undercover to escape from the mob. Martin Lawrence plays the lead character of Malcolm Turner who is a FBI agent. At the start of the film, Turner is chasing down the mailman (played by Ken Jeong), then cuts him off to stop his vehicle, just to see if the acceptance letter from Duke University has arrived for his step-son in the mail. When it has, he is delighted. He goes to find his step-son who claims on the phone to be at the library but is instead giving a hip-hop performance. Turner tracks him down through the FBI by using the location of his phone. They have a fight because the step-son Trent (played by Brandon T. Jackson) wants his father to sign a recording contract for him as he is not yet 18 years-old, but the step-father wants the boy to go to Duke University.

Trent's friends convince him that he should show up at his step-father's work and that way he will be forced to sign the recording contract just to get rid of him. Turner is trying to entrap the mob boss Chirkoff (played by Tony Curran) with the help of a snitch Canetti (played by Max Casella) when Trent shows up. Chirkoff kills Canetti which Trent witnesses. Trent and Turner escape, but because they leave Trent's car behind the mob boss knows where they live. Right before Canetti died he told Turner, he gave the key piece of evidence needed to convict Chirkoff, to a friend at a Female performing arts school.

To both hide from the mob and to be able to retrieve the evidence, Turner convinces his step-son to put on woman's attire. They go to the woman's school where Turner gets a job dressed as Big Momma and Trent is his niece named Charmaine.

At the woman's school, Trent as Charmaine, makes friends with Haley Robinson (played by Jessica Lucas). Turner as Big Momma ,figures out Canetti's friend is the security guard and the missing evidence is in an antique music box that was stolen from the library. Trent changes back to himself to go on a date with Haley, which goes well, but he is spotted by the criminals. He escapes by turning back into Charmaine.

There is a musical performance at the end which becomes the final showdown with the gang. The evidence is recovered and all the bad guys arrested with the help of the security guard that has fallen for Big Momma (Turner). Trent and Haley get together and he decides to go to college instead of being a musical performer.
Best part of story, including ending: This story has some amusing moments especially when Trent reacts, like a man would, to being surrounded by pretty girls even though he is supposed to also be a girl, named Charmaine.

Best scene in story: It is very funny when the security guard is trying to make the moves on Big Momma, not noticing Big Momma is a man in female attire.

Opinion about the main character: It is nice to see that Turner wants what is best for his step-son and that the boy does decide to go to college.
