We are somewhere in Central or maybe in South America. MacConnachie and Ansell have escaped from prison and they're trying to reach the border. While they're running through the country, they're chased by an helicopter that'll try to stop them. After having crossed vast plains, numerous fields of sugar canes and desertic regions, both escapees finally reach the mountains where liberty, and the helicopter, are waiting for them. Directed by Joseph Losey (1970).

Best part of story, including ending:
With only two main characters who are running during the whole movie, the director manages to create suspense.
Best scene in story:
The last scene in the snowy mountains featuring the final duel between Robert Shaw and the helicopter is captivating.
Opinion about the main character:
The director didn't want that the audience feels any empathy for the main character played by Robert Shaw.
